 Improvisation and Repertoire

Ori Kroll brings in the improvisation classes an observation of movement from a place that connects physical sensation, mental intention and cognitive statement. The connections and precision required of the students in this class refine their tools and senses to bring themselves to the limit of their ability to an absolute being without restraints in movement.

The improvisation practice is linked to repertory materials by Naa Tsuk and Ohad Fishoff, by Uri Kroll and by the students themselves.

This is a fascinating journey into laboratory work in the studio and its transformation into work for the stage.

Modern Dancer

Modern Technique

A technique lesson inspired by Graham brings Graham's complex and sophisticated language. Graham's classes give students tools for using the floor, practicing gravity, important tools for working with the center of the body, the pelvis and the back.

Graham's tools are correct for building a modern dancer in order to understand the body. These are excellent tools for deepening movement, qualities and dynamics that will later be used in any repertoire material they encounter.
